Darlene Frances Moleski

Darlene Frances Moleski, 75, of Alden New York passed away on July 7, 2026 at Greenfield Rehabilitation Center. Darlene was born in Batavia NY on January 20, 1951 the daughter of the late Richard Hodges and Frances Huling. She graduated from Attica High School in 1969 and started a family that same year. The four daughters that resulted from that union were her pride and joy along with the 9 grandchildren that would follow.

Darlene was preceded in death by her second husband Joseph Moleski and partner William Quay as well as her siblings Richard, Frederick, Lloyd, and Mary. She is survived by her four daughters Tina Badar (Dean), Tammy Amedick (Jason), Tracy Fisher (Roger) and Trisha Cardinale (Timothy), and her 9 grandchildren Samantha Marshall (Chase), Jacob Badar, Dillon Amedick, Alex Amedick, Luke Amedick, Austin Fisher (Jazmyn), Abigail Fisher (Ian), Vincent Cardinale and Cameran Cardinale. She is also survived by stepchildren John Johnson, Jason Johnson (Tina) and Jodi Moelski as well as step grandchildren Rayanne Johnson, Elias Johnson, Maria Johnson, Isabella Moleski and Joey Gall.

Darlene was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She also had many lifelong friends she loved to spend time with. She had a zest for life and loved to dance and look for the positives in every situation. She loved to feed and watch the birds outside her apartment windows. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles. She had a long career doing secretarial work for many different companies and devoted many years to helping Make a Wish fulfill dreams for those less fortunate.
