Erie County Historian speaking at NHS Meeting May 11

Newstead Historical Society looking forward to welcoming back Erie County Historian Doug Kohler as he talks about, “The Top 10 Events in Erie County History”, tonight, May11.  He will attempt to unravel truths from the distant past of the Holland Land Company to the triumph and tragedy of the Pan-American Exposition and so much more.

All are invited to come see what other events make up the top ten list. “Doug is an interesting speaker and you are sure to learn and be entertained by his presentation,” a NHS spokesperson said.  “Debate is always welcome. The program is at 7 p.m. in the Newstead Town Hall, 5 Clarence Center Rd. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge to attend.
