Gerald Logan

Gerald Logan, “Chipper” 66 of Basom, New York passed away on July 7, 2023. He was born in Buffalo, NY on February 1, 1954 to the late Clayton and Patricia (Printup) Logan.

Gerald honorably served in United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Tonawanda Seneca Nation and the Bear Clan. When he was younger, he made his living as a truck driver, and worked throughout the country. More recently, he worked security at Jan’s Smoke Shop. He enjoyed Lacrosse; both playing and watching. He also enjoyed fishing whenever he could and loved his pets dearly.

Gerald is survived by his loving companion, Sherri Abrams; his sisters, Juanita (Late Neville) Spring, Mona Logan: and his brother, Chester (Maureen) Logan. He is also survived by three sons as well as several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his brothers, John Logan, Clayton Logan Jr., and Edward Logan.

Friends and relatives called on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 6957 Meadville Road on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023.  A Long House Service followed at 2 p.m. To share memories and condolences with Gerald’s family please visit rossakron.com.
