Lady Tigers shut-out Barker to move to Class C Championship game

Akron’s Lady Tigers is the top seeded and undefeated in-league field hockey team earning a place in the Class C championship game Wednesday, November 1,  after downing Barker 2-0 in semifinals.

Late in the second quarter the lady Tigers gained an offensive corner and Kayla Cebulski inserted the ball to Morgan Tomporowski who shot the game winning goal. During the 4th quarter, Olivia McClaine passed the ball into the circle to Julia Klodzinski who deflected for the second goal.

Marissa Brege faced multiple offensive charges made by the Barker Bulldogs and turned them all away with the help of the defensive squad.
