Planned Electrical Outage cancelled

The Village of Akron has issued the following statement relative to the planned village wide electrical outage in September.

Attention:  CANCELLATION

of Planned Electric Outage

The New York Power Authority has officially postponed the planned electrical outage that was scheduled for September 12-13 and September 19-20 due to conflicts with National Grid.  New Dates will be submitted for Village approval, possibly Spring/Fall of 2027.
