Shirley A. Stahl

Shirley A. Stahl passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026. She was born on November 10, 1936 and spent 87 of her years in Wolcottsville, NY, where she touched many lives with her nurturing spirit and love for her family and community. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Shirley’s family brought her immense joy and satisfaction.

Shirley retired from Ford Gum after many dedicated years of service as a packer. She was a hardworking woman who never shied away from a challenge, evident from her early years as a farming girl. Despite her busy work life, she always found time to indulge in her hobbies. Shirley loved cooking and baking. She also harbored a fondness for knitting, creating beautiful afghans that served as comforting reminders of her love.

In her retirement, Shirley channeled her nurturing nature into her church, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran of Wolcottsville. Her commitment to her faith and her community was a testament to her loving spirit. But what mattered most to Shirley were her grandkids, whom she adored. She was a loving mother to Andy (Cheryl) Stahl and Darlene (Ron, Jr.) Loveland; cherished grandmother to Mitchell (Rachel Preston) Stahl and Mandy (John) Chamberlin; proud great grandmother to Trent Stahl and CaLee Chamberlin; dear sister to Brian (late June) Raduns. Shirley is also survived by her sisters-in-law Norma Rehwaldt and Janet Stahl as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Stahl, her parents, Alton and Letha Raduns, and her brother, Clare (Late Doris) Raduns.

Family and friends called from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, NY 14001. A Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Thursday, July 23 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Wolcottsville.
