State Police looking for public assistance in fraud investigation

The New York State Police – SP Clarence Bureau of Criminal Investigation have an ongoing fraudulent financial investigation where we are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying additional victims to a fraudulent financial activity.

 It is believed the fraudulent transactions are connected to purchases made at a fast-food establishment on Transit Road in the town of Clarence in between the dates of January 15, 2026 – April 10, 2026.  SP Clarence Investigators urge individuals to carefully review their credit card and debit card statements to specifically look for any unauthorized or suspicious transactions listed under the business name of “Jays Creates” and/or “Jays Bakehouse”.
