Temporary discoloration of village water possible

The Village of Akron has announced that due to an unauthorized test flush performed by contractors at the Akron Central School sports stadium project site, an excessive amount of water was used in a short period of time this afternoon. This event could cause temporarily discolored water in areas of the Village but is expected to pass soon. As always, the village appreciates your patience.
