Three Akron High School Artists Selected for Prestigious Statewide Virtual Art Exhibit

Three talented Akron Central High School students were selected to showcase their artwork in the annual New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) Exhibit. Anna Bergman, Nathaniel Gehl, and Ayden Wilson will have their work featured in this prestigious event, which recognizes outstanding student artists from elementary and secondary schools across New York State.

Sponsored by the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA), the annual exhibit connects student artists with local school board members. Since 2020, the show has transitioned to a dynamic online platform to provide flexibility and expand public access. Submitted artwork is curated into a comprehensive virtual exhibition representing New York’s 10 diverse regions.

School board members attending the annual NYSSBA Convention will view the virtual exhibit during their event from October 22–24 in Buffalo, NY. Following the convention, the digital gallery will remain open to convention attendees and the general public through the spring of 2027, by visiting the official NYSATA exhibit page at https://www.nysata.org/nyssba-exhibit.
