Kayla Alba prepares to portray Nebraska in today's (April 21) Elementary Homegrown Assembly in the Akron Central School Edward Allen Auditorium beginning at 9:15 a.m. Also practicing are other Kieffer/Zazynski/Matusek fifth grade students. The public is welcome to attend Homegrown assemblies.

It's Friday night, 10:00 p.m. and Joyce and I have just returned from a concert at Akron central High School. This was a special event by a very talented rock group whose specialty is playing the Beatles music and they were certainly "magic".
