A fire on Thursday afternoon, June 5, destroyed the interior of a home at 18 Marshall Ave. in the Village of Akron.

Akron-Newstead Recreation will hold a Sign Up for this summerís recreation program on Saturday, June 14. Sign up is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the annual Akron Chamber of Commerce Sidewalk Sale with recreation staff located in front of the Akron Pharmacy to accept registrations and answer questions.
