Families and friends gather for fun Akron Fourth of July Celebration

Families and friends gathered on either side of Main Street to watch Akron’s annual Fourth of July Parade in the hot summer sun Sunday, as 35 units made their way along the parade route. This year’s theme was ‘Celebrate Youth’ and youth were celebrated throughout the units as well as along the route.
