Akron Tigers 13u split games over the weekend

Come from behind win The Akron Tigers 13u baseball team came from behind to beat Central Amherst 9-6 on Friday night.   Brodie Tedesco was the starting pitcher for the Tigers.  Tedesco gave up no runs on one hit in the first inning.  Aiden Romesser led off with a double for the Tigers and later scored on a hit by Vinny Consiglio. Burial for Thomas “Coach” Wetzen who entered into rest Saturday, April 25, will take place on Friday, May 1, 2020 with a Funeral Procession leaving Ross Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. heading through town, past Wetzen Field and ending at St. Teresa’s Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
