Mary L. Gray 61, of Lyndonville, N.Y. passed away suddenly on Friday, March 19, 2021. She was born July 1,1959 in Buffalo, NY to the late Richard and Gloria (Harold) Grabowski. Sixteen new COVID-19 cases confirmed in 14001

Town of Newstead/Village of Akron Emergency Manager, Dan Kowalik, gave a COVID-19 update on Tuesday. The confirmed number of cases in the 14001 Zip Code since March of 2020 continued to rise, now 550, in new weekly cases, up 16 from 534 last week, and 530 the week before. Kowalik reminds local residents they need to continue to be smart and follow the recommendations being sent forth by the local health officials.
