A Draft re-opening plan for Akron Central School is expected to be posted on the school website on Thursday, July 30. Superintendent of Schools Patrick McCabe gave an overview of the 51-page plan during Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting.

They will select a person to complete the unexpired term (three years) of Town of Newstead Councilwoman Jeannine Morlacci who resigned May 27, 2020, and vote for someone to fill a full four-year term as Town Justice, following procedures to fill the position of Town Justice when someone elected to that position wishes to take retirement and continue to serve, which Town Justice Dennis Freeman opted to do.

Tedesco gave up no runs on one hit in the first inning. Aiden Romesser led off with a double for the Tigers and later scored on a hit by Vinny Consiglio.
