Julia Mary Vreatt, age 101, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025 at home in Riverside, CA. Julia grew up in Alden, New York. She was a loving, sweet, kind, affectionate, beautiful wife, mother, sister, aunt, in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She was called “Grammy” to everyone. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a lifelong volunteer at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic church in Corona, CA and was a Sunday school teacher at Bowmansville United Methodist Church in Bowmansville, NY. White Whiskers Senior Sanctuary ribbon cutting

RIBBON CUTTING – Village of Akron Mayor Brian Perry and founder Polla Milligan officially cut the ribbon opening White Whiskers Senior Sanctuary on Lewis Road, Akron.  The labor of love for Milligan and many volunteers created this unique kennel free dog shelter in Western New York.
