The Akron Tiger teams are in the thick of the season. Selected Tiger Athletes of the Week are Derren Brooks of the varsity boys basketball team and Madigan Regan of the varsity girls swim team. Brooks, a sophomore, plays forward for the Tigers. In their only game last week Derren posted 13 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.
