Read moreOne Driver killed Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Crash Investigation Unit is looking into the cause of a fatal crash on April 22. The three-vehicle crash occurred around 5:40 a.m. on Maple Road near Koepsel Road in the Town of Newstead. An operator of one of the vehicles was killed in the incident, and the drivers of the other vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information about the drivers is not available at the time of this release. The crash unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
