Five seek three open Board of Education seats

Five candidates are running for three-year terms on the Akron Central School Board of Education.  The three-year terms of present Board of Education members Ryan Allen, Heather Cayea and Kristy Pingitore will expire on June 30, 2025. Priscilla L. Patterson, 82 of Batavia, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at United Memorial Medical Center. She was born April 25, 1942 in Dansville, NY, a daughter of the late William N. and Beatrice Gilbert Swarts.
