Barbara C. Lowder, 92 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at LeRoy Village Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 12, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Julius and Helen Bow Chiuppi. Barbara was employed by Sylvania in Batavia and Litton Electronics in Mesa, Arizona prior to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to travel, making trips to the Panama Canal, Alaska, Hawaii, and twice to Italy and  Europe. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
